A mission-motivated communications professional with 7+ years of experience in breaking news, open-source research, tech and international affairs.

Back as a student at Northwestern University in 2012, I covered a story on the Wildcats football team for Northwestern’s student newspaper, The Daily Northwestern. The managing editor gave it a read and asked “Are you really into football or something?” I had never sat through a full game at that point!

I’m a chameleon who can write about any topic and adapt to any audience, but I am particularly motivated by supporting missions I believe in and working with like-minded individuals.

I hold an MA in International Studies from Leiden University, and a BA in Political Science and International Studies from Northwestern University. Previously, I served as an Open Source Analyst at the International Atomic Energy Agency, was in Marketing at JPMorgan Chase, and an editor and domain expert at Dataminr.
